After a widely disappointing loss to the Las Vegas Aces, the Indiana Fever and star guard Caitlin Clark are looking to move forward from the contest.
Clark had a rough game against the Aces, with two missed free throws and a turnover late in overtime costing the Fever the game. That loss made it two straight for Indiana, and it is now trying to avoid a longer losing streak.
The Fever face off against the Chicago Sky on Saturday, as they look to get things back on track. After Clark’s hard fall in overtime, many wonder if it will affect her status for the game.

The Fever have released their injury report for the Sky game on Saturday. Three names showed up on the report, including Clark with her back injury.
Clark is good to go after being listed as “probable” for the contest. This lines up with her status over the last month.
Starting center Aliyah Boston also got a “probable” status with her right lower leg injury. Backup center Damiris Dantas is also on the injury report with a left knee injury. Dantas recently had surgery on the knee and will not be playing the rest of the season.
In 27 games this season, Clark is averaging 21.5 points, 8 assists, and 3.9 rebounds per contest. She is coming off a 20-point performance in the loss to the Aces.

This is a big game for the Fever, as they sit with a 19-12 record and are slipping in the WNBA standings. Chicago has been playing well, but is on the outside of the playoff hunt.
Clark needs a bounce-back game more than anyone on the Fever. She was able to get a good amount of shots off, but struggled to hit the important ones, and 8 turnovers against the Aces hurt her performance.
Indiana has a chance to prove that they do belong in the conversation for one of the best teams. It will take a strong performance in Chicago to get it done, but they have the talent to do it.
Their performance depends on how Clark performs in the game. As long as she can prove that the Aces game was a fluke, the Fever have a chance to be just fine.
