Another game, another win for the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, April 8. At home in Colorado, the Nuggets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 136-119.
With that win, the Nuggets picked up their 10th victory in a row. They are now 52-28 on the year, with a 1.5-game lead over the Los Angeles Lakers for the Western Conference’s third seed.
The veteran guard Jamal Murray checked in for 35 minutes against the Grizzlies.

Murray shot 8-17 from the field, going 5-10 from three. He scored 26 points, while coming down with seven rebounds, and racking up five assists. Murray was a plus-18 for the Nuggets on the night.
Before the game, the Nuggets brought light to a historic streak that Murray is putting together. He’s in elite company, alongside the former NBA MVP Steph Curry, of the Golden State Warriors.

According to the Nuggets, Murray is just one of two players in the NBA to average 25.0 points per game, while shooting 43.0% from three. Murray is attempting over seven three-pointers per game.
Steph Curry achieved that feat twice in his career. Murray will notch the third season with those averages.
Jamal Murray: First-Time All-Star
The 29-year-old is having the best year of his career from a solo standpoint.
Murray entered the NBA as the seventh pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He came from the University of Kentucky.
Leading up to the 2025-2026 NBA season, Murray averaged 18.0 points per game, while shooting 38.1% from three-point range.
After Wednesday night’s action, Murray has 75 games under his belt for the year. The veteran guard has averaged 25.4 points per game, while hitting on 43.5% of his shots from beyond the arc.
For the first time in his career, Murray was named an All-Star. He could have some additional awards coming his way soon.

The Nuggets will be on the court again on Friday, April 10, to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. They are looking to keep their impressive streak alive while locking in the third seed over the Lakers.
The Nuggets and the Thunder will meet for a 9 PM ET tip on Friday.
