The Sky resigned Courtney Vandersloot, who is expected to return from her ACL injury this season.
“I truly believe the Sky are building something special, which made it a no-brainer to sign back,” Vandersloot said in a statement. “Finishing last season with an injury was disappointing, but I’m eager to be back on the court.”
Vandersloot, 37, is arguably the Sky’s best player of all time. She leads the Sky in total points, assists, and steals. She’s also second in all-time assists in league history, behind only Sue Bird.
The Sky back court now includes Vandersloot, Skylar Diggins, Jacy Sheldon and Hailey Van Lith.
