Travis Kelce and his fiancée, Taylow Swift, have stayed out of the public eye since the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season came to an end last month.
After 13 seasons in the NFL, Kelce is deciding whether he’s ready to retire or if he’d like to return for one more season. While the Chiefs finishing the year with a 6-11 record and missing the playoffs is a disappointing way to go out, Kelce’s already done more than enough to be a first-ballot NFL Hall of Famer.
As for Swift, her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” continues to break records. After a demanding press tour, she also appears to be taking a break from the spotlight while the famous couple plans their upcoming wedding.

Fans were hoping to see Swift and Kelce attend the 2026 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 1. Without a demanding Super Bowl schedule, the 11-time Pro Bowler could’ve accompanied Swift to “the biggest night in music” for the first time.
The 14-time Grammy winner and Kelce ultimately did not attend this year’s Grammys at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, which didn’t come as a huge surprise. Grammy Awards Executive Producer Ben Winston previously shut down rumors of Swift performing and attending this year’s ceremony.
Despite not attending the Grammys, Swift headed out for an after-party.

A video of Swift chatting with friends in a black top and red lipstick immediately went viral on social media on February 2. Kelce does not appear in the brief video.
One fan posted on X, “Taylor honey you are so missed.” Another fan simply wrote, “OMG.” Another person gushed, “Wow her ring shone through my screen 💍💍💓❤️.”
A Swiftie added, “Next year she will be winning the SOTY.”
Swift did not earn any nominations this year because she didn’t release any new music in the qualifying window. She released “The Life of a Showgirl” on October 3. The eligibility period for the 68th annual Grammy Awards ran from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025.
The album is likely to rack up a slew of nominations in 2027.
Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Could Make an Appearance at a Super Bowl Pre-Party
GettyTravis Kelce’s latest investment is already a big hit.
While Kelce opted out of participating in the Pro Bowl in San Francisco, he’s hosting a party during Super Bowl week with Sports Illustrated and Tight End University, which he co-founded with George Kittle and Greg Olsen in 2021. The event, “Tight Ends & Friends,” will be held on Thursday, Feb. 5, at Public Works.
The event will feature “interactive games and activations, turf buildouts, and an incredible soundtrack of music all night long… an elevated party atmosphere that delivers a culturally relevant moment with unmatched authenticity and fan engagement.” Available tickets start at $185.
It’s unclear if Kelce is attending the event in person. During Tight End University’s annual offseason summit in Nashville, Swift made a surprise appearance and even performed at one of the events.
