After Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion went public with her allegations of cheating against Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson and ended their relationship, a UK podcast host’s viral take has added new fuel to the situation and now she is strongly reaffirming her ââââââââââââââââstance.

The controversy erupted after podcast host Madame Joyce claimed that Megan Thee Stallion gave Klay Thompson global influence. A take that immediately ignited NBA fans worldwide. Rather than walk it back, she returned in her latest episode.
“If you think you’re coming here for an apology, or you think you’re coming here for me to retract my statement, you can retract yourself back to your dirty hole that you was in before you came out and started talking sh**. I’m standing 10 toes down. I said what the f*** I said, bro.”
She then went live through the Ringer’s NBA Top 100 list to prove her point and the results were jaw-dropping. She admitted she had never heard of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic, Kawhi Leonard, or Anthony Edwards. The only player she recognized in the top ten was Stephen Curry, who ranked at No. 11.
“NeNe Leakes is more famous than some of your top 10 NBA players currently, because reality TV and music expands to certain realms that unfortunately for you guys in my comments, it doesn’t transcend quite the same,” she argued, adding, “outside of America, we don’t even know the names of the teams here.”
She closed with a backhanded compliment: “The NBA and everything you’ve achieved is phenomenal â I’m sure you’re making money, I’m sure you’re making your cities proud â but me, as a UK resident, there’s only two of you I have ever heard of in my life.”

The split was confirmed on April 25, when Megan officially announced the end of their nearly year-long relationship. In a statement to TMZ, she said: “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.”
She had earlier posted on Instagram Stories accusing the Mavericks guard directly: “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house⦠got ‘cold feet.’ Holding you down through your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season.”
Thompson has not publicly responded to the allegations and remains under contract with Dallas for one more season.
