As the season moves forward, it’s worth noting that Phillies star Kyle Schwarber is closing in on exciting MLB history.

He needs just four home runs to become the 106th player to hit 350 for their career.

Schwarber’s MLB Career

Schwarber was the fourth pick in the 2014 MLB Draft out of Indiana.

He spent the first six years of his career with the Chicago Cubs, winning the 2016 World Series Championship over the Cleveland Guardians.

Following the Cubs, Schwarber spent part one of season with the Boston Red Sox and Washington Nationals.

He is currently in the middle of his fifth season playing for the Phillies.

Over 1,309 career games, the 33-year-old is batting .231 with 346 home runs, 796 RBI’s, 812 runs and 37 stolen bases.

ESPN’s Jeff Passan wrote (on December 9, 2025): “Slugger Kyle Schwarber and the Philadelphia Phillies are finalizing a five-year, $150 million contract, sources tell ESPN. The NL MVP runner-up, one of the best home run hitters and clubhouse leaders in baseball, is returning to Philadelphia.”

They are 8-10 in 18 games, which has them as the fourth-place team in the National League East.
