Five swimmers were sent to the hospital Tuesday night after an acid spill at a Greenwood Village swimming pool, according to South Metro Fire Rescue officials.
Firefighters responded to a hazardous materials call at the Sundance Pool in the 5600 block of South Galena Street at 5:55 p.m., agency officials said on social media.
Crews were able to isolate the spill and there is no threat to the public, South Metro officials said. Five swimmers were taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
