<p id=”par-4_45″>In the rule-bound world of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/the-gilded-age-7-shows-watch-love-hbo-series.html/”>Victorian high society</a> that Jo and Frances inhabit, leaving your wife for another woman is guaranteed to trigger a massive scandal. While the future is uncertain, there’s no doubt that Jo’s bold move will have huge consequences for everyone involved. </p>
<p id=”par-5_57″>After years of struggle, Louisa now has a comfortable home in the countryside, fresh air for her sickly children, and a supportive partner by her side (at least for now). But in choosing Louisa, Jo will inevitably be shunned by society, and his own family. Will he be able to cope with the fallout from his choice? </p>
<p id=”par-6_36″>As for the formidable Frances, who has dedicated herself to advancing the success of the Forstye family, being abandoned by her husband is a massive blow. But don’t count her out, Middleton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. </p>
<p id=”par-7_45″>“Well, without giving any away any spoilers, I think that Frances has always been a survivor,” she said. “As much as she is heartbroken, I think she doesn’t necessarily … She knows that Jolyon is still out there. It doesn’t feel like a definitive ending.”</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-anything-can-happen-in-the-forsytes-season-2″>‘Anything can happen’ in ‘The Forsytes’ Season 2 </h2>
<p id=”par-8_23″>The unexpectedly single Frances confronts a wide open future in <em>The Forsytes </em>Season 2, Middleton added. After all in crisis, there’s also opportunity. </p>
<p id=”par-9_32″>“It kind of feels like anything can happen for Frances,” she said. “It just depends on once she has pulled herself back from the brink, what she actually wants in the end.” </p>
<p id=”par-10_46″>“I think that those are the big questions for her in the next series: What kind of life does she want and how does she go about finding that and still protecting her heart and her daughter’s heart? So those are the big challenges for her.”</p>
