<p id=”par-1_7″>Lisa Barlow is sticking to her story.</p>
<p id=”par-2_65″>During the latest season of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/lisa-barlow-throws-shade-whitney-rose-wwhl-guest-chrishell-stause-speechless.html/”><em>The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City</em></a><em>, </em>Barlow said she couldn’t attend an event with the rest of the cast because she had better things to do – like hanging out with Ben Affleck. When the actor recently said that he didn’t recall meeting the <em>RHOSLC </em>star, it prompted her to clarify when and where the alleged encounter took place.</p>
<p id=”par-3_28″>“SXSW [for] <em>The Accountant</em> 2,” she wrote in an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DTlm9Cikvpe/c/18081779321466370/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> comment, referring to the Austin, Texas, music and film festival. “And it was a great movie and party.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_35″>How did the <em>Argo </em>director get dragged into <em>RHOSLC </em>drama? It all began in a season 6 episode, when Barlow named-dropped the Oscar winner as one reason why she couldn’t attend Angie Kastanevas’ girls trip. </p>
<p id=”par-5_76″>“I don’t want to spend the night with [<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoslc-bronwyn-newport-interested-relationship-lisa-barlow-1-pivotal-moment.html/”>fellow Housewife Bronwyn Newport</a>]. She’s a pathological liar,” Barlow said. “She can’t tell the truth to save her life. It’s like, disgusting. Also, I have a work thing. It’s like, a big deal. I think what people forget is I have a very full life. Because I keep it kinda private. And like, I’m not gonna drop names, but like, I’ll be with Ben [Affleck] and Blake [Lively].”</p>
<p id=”par-6_15″>But when Affleck was later quizzed about whether he’d met Barlow, he was visibly confused. </p>
<p id=”par-7_72″>“I don’t want to get anybody in trouble or — I don’t know what this is — [was it at] an event in Salt Lake City? Like, prove somebody right or wrong?” he told Access Hollywood on January 16 while promoting his new Netflix movie, <em>Rip</em>. “I haven’t been in Utah in, maybe, 8, 9 or 10 years, I don’t know. It doesn’t look familiar to me and I don’t remember anything.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_9″>However, Affleck admitted he just might not remember Barlow. </p>
<p id=”par-9_37″>“I don’t want to embarrass her because I say hi to a lot of people,” he added. “I don’t want to be the jerk who is like, ‘I did meet you.’ You don’t remember everyone you meet.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_81″>This isn’t the first time Affleck’s named has come up in relation to a Utah-based reality show. <em>The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives </em>star Jennifer Affleck has said that her husband, Zac Affleck, was Ben’s second cousin. But genealogists could find no connection between the two men, and Jennifer later said the claim Zac was related to Ben began as a family joke. But she and the other Affleck <a href=”https://people.com/is-zac-affleck-related-to-ben-affleck-the-secret-lives-of-mormon-wives-11735485″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>did eventually meet</a> when they starred together in a commercial for Dunkin’.</p>
