Bates revealed that she was expecting her third child with husband, Travis Clark, but the pregnancy ended in a loss.</p>
<p id=”par-3_63″>The video takes followers through the process of learning Katie is pregnant, sharing the big news with Clark, and then learning that the pregnancy had ended. Family members and friends were quick to jump inot the comment section to offer support. Several of her sisters, including<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/bates-family-news-roundup-erin-bates-released-from-the-hospital-without-answers-carlin-bates-names-her-baby.html/”> Carlin Stewart</a>, offered their condolences, as did famous friends. There was more troubling news to come, though.</p>

The nursing student revealed he had repeatedly cheated on his wife before asking for “privacy and grace” for Katie.</p>

<p id=”par-5_62″>Clark’s upload also stated that he was trying to change “regardless of outcome,” which suggests divorce could be on the table. If the couple splits, it would be a first for the ultra-conservative Christian Bates family. It is unclear exactly why Clark felt the need to issue a public apology on the same day Bates uploaded her emotional video about pregnancy loss.</p>
<p id=”par-6_48″>The couple, who married in December 2021, were just 22 and 20 when they tied the knot. Bates moved to New Jersey following the wedding, where the Clark family is based. In February 2023, their first child, Hailey, was born. In 2024, they welcomed their second child, Harvey.</p>
