Former U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who has been called a “traitor” by President Donald Trump after disagreeing with several of the President’s actions and policies, took issue this week with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who has been goading Trump to use military force against Iran.
Note: Trump has been encouraging protestors in Iran, and promising them on social media that “help is on the way.” (Greene objects to multiple stances held by both Trump and Graham which she believes don’t align with a true “America First” agenda.)
Today Greene wrote: “Senate goes into recess and Lindsey Graham hops on plane to South Caro.. er scratch that, Israel because he’s devastated Trump didn’t bomb Iran so he has to scheme with Bibi to find another way to pressure Trump to bomb Iran.”

On Thursday, Graham (who is running for re-election this year with Trump’s endorsement) announced: “I am traveling to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team at this crucial time in the history of the Middle East. The goal is to build on the historic opportunities created by President Trump’s unprecedented leadership, to stand up to evil, and to support the people who are sacrificing for freedom.”
Graham added: “The Trump-Netanyahu alliance has thus far been one of the strongest partnerships in the history of the U.S.-Israel relationship, and I am hopeful it will pay dividends in the near future.”
Note: The New York Times reported yesterday that Israel and Arab nations including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Egypt have asked Trump to refrain from bombing Iran as they fear retaliation strikes on their countries from Iran.
