Anne Miskey, CEO of Pasadena’s Union Station Homeless Services, announces resignation

Anne Miskey announced her resignation as CEO of Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena on Friday, March 22, bringing to an end a six-year run as chief of Pasadena’s flagship homeless-services provider.

“It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce that after six years of dedicated service, Anne Miskey has resigned from her position as chief executive officer at Union Station Homeless Services,” said Jesse Torres, chair of the Board of Directors, Union Station Homeless Services.  “We at Union Station are tremendously grateful to Anne for the energy, vision, and heart that she dedicated to our organization, to our communities and to those we served these past six years. We wish her the absolute best in all her future plans and endeavors.”

Miskey’s resignation will be effective, April 2.

The reason for Miskey’s departure was unclear. In her statement, she voiced appreciation for her time at the agency. Union Station, buoyed by a housing-first model, has served the area for more than 50 years with outreach and interim housing services.

“I am incredibly appreciative of my time at Union Station,” Miskey said Friday. “I was fortunate to work closely with many amazing staff, volunteers, donors, and community members, all focused on helping end homelessness for our most vulnerable neighbors.

“Leaving is hard, but I take with me so much of what I have learned over the past six years, and the many friends and colleagues I have made. I wish Union Station all the best as it moves forward as one of L.A. County’s premier homeless agencies.”
