Here’s what the star center said following the loss, evaluating his performance:
“Terrible. Well, first, I wish I wasn’t sick, So, maybe that would have helped to play better. So, physically, I just was not in it, and then secondly, obviously, if the first part was better, then I guess I would have had more energy to do all the things. So yeah, just gotta take off myself and get out of it and play better.” via Sixers Wire

Before the All-Star break, Embiid was missing games due to knee soreness. After the break, shin soreness played a part in his delayed return as well. After five absences, Embiid returned for a two-game stretch in late February.
During the Sixers’ February 26 win against the Heat, Embiid suffered an oblique strain. He missed the next 13 games for the Sixers. Embiid was back on the court for their March 25 game against the Chicago Bulls. He’s set to make four appearances in a row on Wednesday.
The Sixers are searching for their 42nd win on Wednesday. They are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Toronto Raptors by 1.0 games.
