According to Jackson’s former bodyguard, Matt Fiddes, the pop star sought out Beyoncé whenever he could. He said that Jackson had a crush on Beyoncé and would have married her. </p>

<p id=”par-4_29″>Fiddes said that Jackson intentionally tried to be close to Beyoncé whenever he could. He wanted her to present him with awards and attend the same parties as him.</p>
<p id=”par-5_46″>“Whenever he was asked to be <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/michael-jacksons-publicist-said-beyonce-1-few-celebrities-supported.html/”>given an award</a>, he would always say, ‘Well, if Beyoncé gives it, then it’s okay,’” he said. “And if we heard she was at a party, we would turn up. In the hope that he would catch her, you know?”</p>
<p id=”par-6_33″>Fiddes recalled a time that they went to one of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/michael-jackson-diddy-party-wanted-see-beyonce.html/”>Sean “Diddy” Combs’ infamous parties</a> because he heard she was there. When they arrived and realized she wasn’t there anymore, they immediately left. </p>
<p id=”par-7_21″>While nothing ever happened between Jackson and Beyoncé, Fiddes said that she was a good friend to Jackson. They spoke often.</p>
<p id=”par-8_28″>“She used to call,” he said, adding, “She was a good friend to him. She used to call all the time. But yeah, he liked Beyoncé a lot.”</p>
