The shooting occurred around 4:45 a.m. on April 13 in the area of Sixth Street between Market and Mission.

An adult with a gunshot wound was taken to a hospital and was declared dead there.

No other details of the victim were released, and no arrests had been made, said the police announcement on April 25.
