On Saturday night, the Philadelphia Phillies will take on the Toronto Blue Jays in the second game of a three-game series at Citizens Bank Park.
Most recently, the Phillies lost the series opener 5-4 on Friday.
Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs during the loss.

Ahead of the game on Saturday, the Philadelphia Phillies announced their starting lineup.

Harper will serve as the team’s designated hitter during Saturday’s game. It marks the first time he has not played right field since the Phillies incorporated second baseman Luis Arraez into their starting lineup.
Meanwhile, regular designated hitter Kyle Schwarber will make his third appearance of the season at first base. Bryan De La Cruz will take over at right field as Harper gets a day off from defensive duties.
Offensively, the former MVP is in the middle of yet another strong season. Harper is batting .257 with 106 hits, 22 doubles, three triples, 24 home runs, 71 runs, 70 RBIs and six stolen bases in 117 games.
In his four games since moving to right field, Harper has gone 4-for-12 with six walks.
Phillies Right Now
After dropping the series opener, the Philadelphia Phillies fell to 62-55 on the season. Philadelphia has gone 5-5 over their last 10 games and are now 8.5 games behind the Atlanta Braves in the National League East. They currently hold a Wild Card spot in the National League.
Right-hander Aaron Nola will make his 24th start of the season. He enters Saturday’s game with a 3-9 record and a 5.55 ERA in 120 innings.
Blue Jays Right Now
Meanwhile, the Toronto Blue Jays improved to 55-62. Despite the win, they remain in last place of the American League East. The Blue Jays have gone 6-4 over their last 10 games.
Eight-time All-Star Max Scherzer is expected to make his ninth start of the season. Scherzer enters Friday’s game with a 1-4 record and a 7.92 ERA in 30.2 innings. The three-time Cy Young winner is coming off his best start of the season as he allowed only one run across six innings against the St. Louis Cardinals.
