Recently, O’Neal made a heartfelt post to Instagram for his son (who recently graduated from college).
O’Neal wrote: “Congrats my twin @shaqironeall #sacrameto state. So proud of you son. Now it’s time for bigger and better things love you my gee”

O’Neal’s son (Shaqir) played four seasons of college basketball at Texas Southern, Florida A&M and Sacramento State.
He finished his career with averages of 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 42.9% from the field and 30.5% from three-point range in 101 games.

O’Neal was the first pick in the 1992 NBA Draft out of LSU.
He spent the first four years of his career with the Orlando Magic before an eight-year run with the Los Angeles Lakers.
With Los Angeles, O’Neal won three titles.

Following the Lakers, O’Neal won his fourth title with the Miami Heat.
He finished his 19-year career with the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics.
His career averages were 23.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.3 blocks per contest while shooting 58.2% from the field in 1,207 games.
The Basketball Hall of Famer played his last game in 2011.
