NBA Legend Magic Johnson Makes Bold Knicks Claim
GettyEarvin “Magic” Johnson discusses the upcoming Los Angeles Lakers‘ season at UCLA Health Training Center on September 20, 2018 in El Segundo, California.
Following the game, NBA legend Magic Johnson made a bold claim about the New York Knicks (via X).
Johnson wrote: “The New York Knicks dominated the Atlanta Hawks in a 114-98 victory last night. They showed me once again why they’re the only team in the East that can beat the Boston Celtics!
The Knicks had five guys in double figures and were led by Karl Anthony Towns who had a triple double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists! When Karl Anthony Towns plays like he did last night with physicality on both ends of the court the Knicks are hard to beat!”
