On Wednesday afternoon, the Los Angeles Dodgers will play the final game of their series against the Toronto Blue Jays in Canada.
The Dodgers won each of the first two games, so they are looking for the sweep.

Before Wednesday’s game, the Dodgers announced the heartbreaking news that Davey Lopes had passed away.
The Los Angeles Dodgers wrote: “The Dodgers mourn the loss of Davey Lopes, who passed away today at age 80. Lopes was a member of the team’s record-setting infield of the 1970s and 1980s and one of the finest basestealers in MLB history. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.”
Lopes played the first ten years of his career for the Dodgers.
He made four All-Star Games in that span.

In addition to the Dodgers, Lopes also spent time playing for the Athletics, Cubs and Astros.
He batted .263 with 155 home runs, 614 RBI’s, 1,023 runs and 557 stolen bases in 1,812 games.
