A man was killed in a shooting in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood Tuesday, according to the Denver Police Department.

Investigators are still determining whether the fatal shooting in the 500 block of Park Avenue West was a homicide, spokesperson Jay Casillas said in an email.

Denver police reported the shooting in a 12:23 p.m. post on X and said one victim was taken to the hospital. The department confirmed the victim, an adult man, had died in a 3:35 p.m. update.
