On Saturday night, the LA Clippers will be in Texas to take on the Dallas Mavericks.
The Clippers are coming off a 105-99 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Kawhi Leonard did not play in the game.

For Saturday’s game, the Clippers have listed Leonard as questionable on the injury report.
Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints wrote: “Kawhi Leonard is QUESTIONABLE tomorrow vs. the Mavs with his left ankle sprain.
Bennedict Mathurin, Bradley Beal, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser remain OUT for the Clippers”

Leonard is currently averaging 28.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 50.4% from the field and 38.3% from three-point range in 54 games.
He is still one of the best 15 players in the NBA (when healthy).

The Clippers got off to a slow start to the season (and then traded two of their best four players).
However, they are still the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 34-36 record in 70 games.
Recently, the Clippers have gone another cold streak (losing four in a row and five out of ten).
Underdog NBA wrote (on March 12): “Kawhi Leonard in Wednesday’s win: 45 PTS 5 REB 5 AST 2 STL 6 3PT 15-20 FG 9-10 FT +41 plus/minus Clippers are the first team in NBA history with a record above .500 after previously being 15 games under .500 in the same season.”

Following the Mavs, the Clippers will play their next game on Monday when they return home to host the Milwaukee Bucks in Los Angeles.
They are coming off a year where they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The Mavs come into play as the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 23-47 record in 70 games.
They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (and have won just two out of their last ten).
At home, the Mavs have gone 14-21 in the 35 games they have played in Dallas.
