Golden State Warriors Announce Key Player Ruled Out For Clippers Game

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Los Angeles to play the Clippers for the play-in tournament.

The Warriors lost to the Clippers on the final day of the regular season (115-110).

Quinten Post did not play in the game, as he has been out since last month.

For Wednesday’s game, the Warriors have announced that Post will remain out.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Quinten Post (injury management) listed out for Wednesday.”

Post finished the regular season with averages of 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest while shooting 44.0% from the field and 33.6% from three-point range in 67 games.

He is in his second NBA season (all with Golden State).

The Warriors are the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 37-45 record.

They have won just three out of their last ten games (and are in the middle of a three-game losing skid).

On the road, the Warriors have gone 15-26 in 41 games away from the Chase Center.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote: “The veteran Warriors are motivated to win twice and get through the play-in this week, but it’s fair to wonder whether a loss is actually better for the organizational outlook.”

The Warriors are coming off a year where they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

They last won a title in 2022.

Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard wrote: “Warriors have a clean preliminary injury report for tomorrow’s 9/10 game vs. LAC. Steve Kerr said he expects everyone who’s left to be available. Steph Curry, Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis won’t climb near 40 minutes. Looking at 10, 11-man rotation. C Quinten Post remains out.”

Clippers Ahead Of Warriors

The Clippers are the ninth seed with a 42-40 record.

They are 23-18 in 41 games at home.

Last season, the Clippers lost in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
