2026 T20 World Cup: Full Schedule & Standings

It might not be the Winter Olympics, but Cricket has a massive following across the world.

Different countries have different sports of focus. In Canada, the National Hockey League (NHL) is where most fans turn for sports entertainment. In the USA, the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), and the National Basketball Association (NBA) are the most popular sports.

However, in countries like England, India, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, cricket is the sport most turn to for entertainment (along with soccer, or “football”)

Currently, the biggest cricket tournament of the year is taking place. The 2026 T20 World Cup is happening in Sri Lanka and India. Here are the most up-to-date standings and schedule.


2026 T20 World Cup Standings

Each team participating in the T20 World Cup is divided into four groups. The top two teams from each move on to the Super 8. Here are the current standings for the tournament. Note: italics denote teams that have moved on to the Super 8.

“A” Group

  1. India – 8 points
  2. Pakistan – 6 points
  3. USA – 4 points
  4. Netherlands – 2 points
  5. Namibia – 0 points

“B” Group

  1. Sri Lanka – 6 points
  2. Zimbabwe – 5 points
  3. Ireland – 3 points
  4. Australia – 2 points
  5. Oman – 0 points

“C” Group

  1. West Indies – 6 points
  2. England – 6 points
  3. Scotland – 2 points
  4. Italy – 2 points
  5. Nepal – 2 points

“D” Group

  1. South Africa – 8 points
  2. New Zealand – 6 points
  3. Afghanistan – 2 points
  4. United Arab Emirates – 2 points

There are four remaining tournament matches before the Super 8 portion of the event begins. There will be 12 matches in the Super 8 portion before the two semi-final matches and the final.

Here are the remaining group matches.

  • February 18 – West Indies vs Italy – 10:30 PM Mountain Time
  • February 19 – Sri Lanka vs Zimbabwe – 2:30 AM Mountain Time
  • February 19 – Afghanistan vs Canada – 6:30 AM Mountain Time
  • February 20 – Australia vs Oman – 6:30 AM Mountain Time

Viewers in India can watch T20 World Cup matches live on streaming via the JioHotstar App and website. Additionally, Star Sports Network TV channels in India also carry the broadcasts.

In Canada and the USA, matches can be seen on Willow.tv. Matches can also be streamed on fubo.tv.

The ICC website can also be used to watch matches. On YouTube, you can find game highlights on the fubo channel as well as the ICC channel.
