<p id=”par-1_22″>Vicki Gunvalson is happily in love. But one of her fellow cast members thinks her boyfriend is waving a major red flag. </p>
<p id=”par-2_41″>In the season premiere of <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/vicki-gunvalson-fired-rhoc.html/”>The Real Housewives of Orange County</a> </em>Season 20, the OG Housewife revealed that her long-time boyfriend Michael Smith had bought her an engagement ring. But it wasn’t on her finger. Instead, he’s holding on to it. </p>
<p id=”par-3_21″>“He says it’s in the safe and he’s not going to give it to me until I shape up,” Vicki revealed. </p>

<p id=”par-4_41″>Vicki and Michael have been together for four years. Last year, they even bought a house together in La Quinta, California, not far from Palm Springs. But saying “I do” is apparently too much of a commitment for the pair. </p>
<p id=”par-5_22″>Vicki has described her businessman beau as a supportive guy who fills “my emotional love tank” and can handle her big personality. </p>
<p id=”par-6_13″>“I’m a lot to accept,” she admitted to <a href=”https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/who-is-vicki-gunvalson-dating-boyfriend-michael-smith-relationship-history” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Bravo Insider</a> earlier this year. </p>
<p id=”par-7_23″>Vicki appears unbothered by the fact that Michael hasn’t yet popped the question. But her co-star Heather Dubrow thinks Michael’s behavior is “interesting.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_25″>At first I thought it was silly,” she said during a recent appearance on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DbKIC3aBQHk/?hl=en”><em>Watch What Happens Live</em></a>. “But then I started thinking about it.”</p>

<p id=”par-9_23″>Heather felt that by telling Vicki he’d bought the ring but continuing to hold on to it, Michael was making a power play.</p>
<p id=”par-10_32″>“So if you have the ring, cool. But if you have the ring and you’re not giving it to me, you’re sending a signal,” she said. “[It’s] a little a red flag.” </p>
<p id=”par-11_58″> The <em>RHOC </em>star added that she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, had discussed the situation with Vicki and agreed that “it was bad.” (To be fair, Heather has been in a spat with Vicki over the latter’s comments that <a href=”https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/heather-dubrow-slams-vicki-gunvalson-money-questions-rhoc-season-20-premiere” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Heather and Terry inherited their money</a>, so she’s not likely to be particularly sympathetic to Vicki right now.) </p>
<p id=”par-12_41″>Heather might be raising her eyebrows at Michael’s behavior. But Vicki – who is twice divorced and broke up with ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers after it was revealed <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhoc-vicki-gunvalson-and-the-season-10-cancer-scam-revisited.html/”>he’d faked a cancer diagnosis</a> – doesn’t need to formalize thing with her man. </p>
<p id=”par-13_52″>“We are in a committed relationship,” Vicki told <a href=”https://www.eonline.com/news/1433526/rhoc-vicki-gunvalson-gives-engagement-marriage-update-with-michael-smith” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>E! News</a> at the season 20 premiere party in Los Angeles on June 30. “I’ve been married twice, he’s been married once, and I don’t really feel the urge or need to get married because I am so loyal to him and so committed.”</p>
