While in jail, Huger said that she wasn’t allowed to talk to many people. Because of this, Cohen’s support meant a great deal to her.</p>

<p id=”par-7_28″>“Andy was one of the few people that I allowed to talk to me inside while I was paying my dues,” she said. “Which I needed to do.” </p>

<p id=”par-9_30″>“He was so lovely and so supportive,” Huger said, adding, “I adore him. I love him. I am so happy to be a part of his team and his family.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_44″>Huger said that she rejected advice from her lawyers to take a plea deal because she was in denial and still under the influence of “prescription drugs and alcohol.” Shortly after her arrest, she denied having a problem with alcohol. She is now sober.</p>

<p id=”par-11_51″>“I think you talking about the denial you were in is perhaps the biggest revelation that I’m feeling from you,” Cohen said, per <a href=”https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/andy-cohen-shares-biggest-karen-huger-interview-revelation” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Bravo</a>. “I think that that’s a very big deal that you say you were in denial. Because you seemed like you were in denial, with all due respect.”</p>

I have the disease of, you know, taking prescription medicine and abusing it. That’s me.”</p>
