<p id=”par-1_33″>After <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/king-charles-just-put-his-foot-down-as-andrew-can-no-longer-use-prince-title-and-must-leave-royal-lodge-home.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>stripping Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his royal titles</a>, King Charles was aware of the public opinion that more needed to be done given his brother’s long association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. </p>
<p id=”par-2_32″>In October 2025, the Palace released a statement announcing that in addition to losing his titles, Andrew was being evicted from the Royal Lodge home where he has lived since 2003. </p>
<p id=”par-3_39″>“His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation,” the statement read. </p>

<p id=”par-4_47″>That private accommodation is a residence more than 100 miles away in Norfolk on the king’s Sandringham estate, known as Marsh Farm. The five-bedroom home is much more modest than the 30-room mansion <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/not-so-royal-andrew-mountbatten-windsor-treated-11-hours-under-arrest.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>the former prince</a> had resided in and needed extensive renovations to make it livable.</p>

<p id=”par-7_42″>According to <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/andrews-new-life-swamp-home-36988296″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mirror</a>, before Andrew had moved in, Command Pest Control was spotted when “dozens of molehills were seen across the front lawn.” The company said it performed a “swift and humane removal” after staffers complained about dealing with mice. </p>

<p id=”par-10_56″>Andrew is “unimpressed” with his new home, but sources say he realizes that he has no choice so “he is resigned to the fact that this is his future. He’s come to the conclusion that he has to get on with the rest of his life and accepts he has to make the best of it.”</p>

She shared, “I visited the Sandringham Estate shortly after Andrew’s shock move and was taken aback by this relatively humble abode. It’s large, but not imposing, and certainly not the sort of residence you’d expect for a man born at Buckingham Palace.”</p>
