There are three WNBA games scheduled for Thursday, August 9. One of the matchups is between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

It’s the third and final Fever vs. Aces game of the regular season. The Fever are looking to sweep the season series after winning the first two meetings on July 5 and 12 in Las Vegas.

The game is also a rematch of last year’s WNBA semifinals. The Fever took the Aces to the brink, losing in overtime of Game 5 on the road.

Tonight’s game between the Indiana Fever and Las Vegas Aces will be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video. It will be held at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST.

It’s also available via livestream on Fubo TV and WNBA League Pass, which are both paid subscriptions.


Fever vs. Aces Preview

The Indiana Fever are coming off a three-game road trip. They went 2-1, beating the Seattle Storm and Portland Fire before losing to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday. They enter tonight’s matchup as winners of seven of their last 10 games.

Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Aces are in the middle of a five-game road trip. They lost to the Chicago Sky at the buzzer in between wins over the New York Liberty and Atlanta Dream. They are 6-4 in their last 10 contests.

The Aces are 21-9 this season and are 12-4 on the road, while the Fever are 19-11 and are 11-5 at home.

The Indiana Fever visited the Las Vegas Aces at the T-Mobile Arena on July 5. They outplayed the A’ja Wilson-less Aces despite not having Caitlin Clark in the lineup due to injury.

Kelsey Mitchell led the way for Indiana in their 84-68 win. She finished with 27 points, two rebounds and three assists, while Aliyah Boston added 18 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Jackie Young had 15 points, two rebounds and four assists for the Aces. Jewell Loyd contributed 12 points and three rebounds, while Chelsea Gray added 10 points, four rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Seven days later, the Fever faced the Aces at the Michelob Ultra Arena for a rematch. Wilson and Clark both played, but it was Mitchell who stole the show once again. She had 27 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals in Indiana’s dominant 109-75 victory.

Clark put up 12 points, seven rebounds and six assists in 24 minutes. Boston recorded 19 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Sophie Cunningham exploded for 20 points off the bench.

Wilson struggled with 20 points on 23 shots, but she grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots. Jackie Young added 15 points and three assists.

The Fever will look to sweep the Aces in the regular season for the first time since 2015. They have never swept the Aces since they moved from San Antonio to Las Vegas.
