Indiana Fever Announce Good Injury News Ahead of Mystics Game

The Indiana Fever are set to host the Washington Mystics on Friday night at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for their third game of the season. The Fever shared some good news regarding injuries ahead of their matchup.

According to the Fever’s official injury report, they have a clean bill of health for the second consecutive game. They don’t have any players sidelined, which is a welcome sight after the season they had last year and the way the preseason had several players injured.

Monique Billings made her debut on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Sparks after missing the season opener versus the Dallas Wings due to an ankle injury. Lexie Hull, who missed the entire preseason due to a hamstring issue, has played the first two games on a minutes restriction.

The Fever dealt with a lot of injuries last season, including Caitlin Clark, who was limited to just 13 games due to multiple muscle-related injuries.

The Fever enter Friday’s matchup with a record of 1-1. They fell short 107-104 against the Wings in their first game of the season. They looked great offensively, but they just couldn’t get any stops on the other end.

In their second game, the Mystics were outlasted by the New York Liberty in overtime 98-93. Citron went cold from the field, scoring 17 points on 4-for-12 shooting, while Kiki Iriafen had her second straight double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The two teams faced each other five times last season, with the Fever winning the season series 3-2.
