The middle jewel of horse racing‘s Triple Crown is at hand. On Friday, May 15th, and Saturday, May 16th, the 2026 Preakness Weekend takes place. There are many races taking place between the two days, culminating in the Black-Eyed Susan on Friday and the Preakness Stakes on Saturday.
Unfortunately, there will be no Triple Crown winner this year. The Kentucky Derby-winning Golden Tempo is bypassing the race in preparation for the Belmont Stakes. While this is a noble venture, it certainly downplays the stakes and drama surrounding this weekend.
With that in mind, here is the race schedule for Friday and Saturday of the Preakness Weekend.
