No. 1 Granada 8, Amador Valley 2
Granada bounced back on Friday from its only loss this season, rolling past host Amador Valley behind three hits, two RBIs and five scoreless innings on the mound from Parker Warner and a home run and two RBIs from Riley Winchell.
Amador Valley beat Granada 5-2 on Tuesday.
In the rematch, Granada scored two in the fourth, four in the fifth and two in the seventh for an 8-0 lead. Amador Valley scored its only runs in the home half of the seventh as it fell to 9-9 overall and 4-4 in the East Bay Athletic League.
Mikey Boyd added a hit and knocked in two for Granada, which improved to 17-1, 6-1.
Kyle Barbera had two hits for Amador Valley.
No. 4 Serra 9, No. 3 Valley Christian 0
Serra snapped a seven-game losing streak to Valley Christian dating to 2019, including a loss on Tuesday, with a dominant performance at home in San Mateo on Friday.
This one was all Serra.
Braden Agosta allowed one hit over 5 2/3 innings and Ian Josephson homered, doubled and drove in two runs to lead the Padres.
Serra also got a double and three RBIs from Josiah Rodriguez and a hit and two RBIs from Jake Downing as it improved to 14-3 overall and 5-1 in the West Catholic Athletic League.
Valley Christian, which beat Serra 4-1 in the series opener this week, fell to 16-3, 4-2.
No. 8 San Ramon Valley 3, Dougherty Valley 2
Brady Shay and Max Ellis each had a hit and an RBI and Luke Baker tripled and scored a run to lead host San Ramon Valley to a victory at home over Dougherty Valley in EBAL play.
Max Johnson was superb on the mound for SRV, allowed one hit and zero earned runs while pitching a complete game. He struck out seven.
Luke Duncan knocked in the only run for Dougherty Valley, which slipped to 6-11, 2-5.
SRV is 12-5, 7-1.
No. 9 Heritage 10, Liberty 5 (9 innings)
After Liberty rallied from five-run deficit to force extra innings, Heritage scored five in the top half of the ninth in a game that won’t count in the Bay Valley Athletic League non-league game.
The teams will play two league games later this season.
Aidan Rangel drove in three runs and Gio Martini had three hits and two RBIs as the Patriots improved to 13-3-1.
David Roberts and Rane Miller each had three hits and Joshua Rhodes added two hits for Liberty, which fell to 10-9.
No. 13 James Logan 5, Washington 3
Joshua Parras had two hits, including a double, and an RBI, Yash Gupta added two hits and scored twice and Westley Vega knocked in two runs as Logan completed a two-game sweep of Washington in Mission Valley Athletic League play.
Logan scored two in the sixth to break a 3-3 tie.
Varad Patwa doubled and drove in two runs for Washington, which dropped to 7-8, 4-2.
Logan is 12-3, 6-0.
Softball
No. 1 St. Francis 10, No. 2 Archbishop Mitty 8 (10 innings)
Leading 7-1 after five innings, St. Francis was stretched an extra three frames after Mitty stormed back on the road with two runs in the sixth and five in the seventh.
But the Lancers remained undefeated, winning in dramatic fashion as Rebecca Quinn hit a two-run walk-off homer to send St Francis to its 15th consecutive victory to open the season.
The victory completed a two-game sweep of the Monarchs, who lost at home to St. Francis 6-0 on Wednesday.
Quinn finished with three hits and three RBIs. She also scored three runs. Peyton Tsao added three hits, including a home run, and Jaime Oakland had three hits, too. Kate Munnerlyn chipped in with two hits and three RBIs.
Corri Hicks and Lindsey Miller each homered for Mitty, which fell to 11-3, 0-2.

California scored six runs in the top half of the third to erase a three-run deficit and held on to edge Foothill in an EBAL game.
Amanda Dilsaver had two hits, including a home run, and drove in three and Jayda Crosby added three hits and knocked in a run to lead California, which improved to 8-3, 5-2.
Kyla Springer had a home run and three RBIs and Kaycie Burdick homered, doubled and knocked in two for Foothill.
The Falcons are 10-4, 4-3.
