In a news release Tuesday, the Morgan Hill Police Department said it received a tip a day earlier detailing the threat. They did not name the facility or disclose the exact nature of the threat.

Detectives investigated the case with assistance from the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Secret Service. Officers were also assigned to watch over the facility.

On Tuesday, detectives concluded the threat was not credible and there was no threat to the community, police said.

Police did not identify the suspect because of their age.

Anyone with information related to the case can contact Detective Cpl. Sean Farrell at 669-253-4989 or sean.farrell@morganhillca.gov, or the anonymous tip line at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
