Man arrested in connection with stabbing Tuesday at Pacifica home

PACIFICA – A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with a stabbing early Tuesday morning in Pacifica, police said.

Suspect sought in East Palo Alto’s second homicide of 2024

The attack happened around 2:40 a.m. at a residence in the 1200 block of Rosita Road, the Pacifica Police Department said in a news release. Officers arrived to find the victim, identified as a 19-year-old Pacifica resident, suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, which were later determined to be not life-threatening.

Officers arrested the 19-year-old suspect, also of Pacifica, at the home. He was booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City on an attempted murder charge.

He was being held without bail as of Tuesday afternoon, according to jail records.

Police did not release a motive for the stabbing.
