The Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crime, which spokesperson Jimmy Lee said happened about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of Biltmore Drive in the unincorporated area of Round Hill.

According to Lee, the woman told sheriff’s deputies that as she exited her after parking in the garage, two people approached her and both had a gun.

The men took some of her belongings, including jewelry, and fled. The woman was not injured physically.

Law enforcement put out a description of the vehicle the two suspects were driving, and Lafayette police officers spotted it on westbound Highway 24, Lee said. They tried to pull overthe car, but it took off. Deputies pursued it for a brief time before calling off the chase.
