Officers from multiple agencies responded to the area off of Highway 1 around 1 p.m. Thursday and attempted to reach the vehicle by scaling the cliff and lowering an officer from a helicopter, according to videos shared by Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz Unit on their social media platforms.
