Where to watch the SpaceX rocket soar in the sky across Southern California

The Space X Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch at 8:32 p.m. PST today, Thursday, March 28, 2024 from Santa Barbara County’s Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The launch will be live streamed online, but for those wanting to catch a glimpse of it in the sky, here are a few spots throughout Southern California from which you might be able to get a good view of the rocket and a scenic backdrop for a photo.
