Snoop Dogg and J.D. Souther added to Jimmy Buffett tribute at Hollywood Bowl

Snoop Dogg and J.D. Souther have been added to the lineup of superstars who will pay tribute to the late singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett during a special performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 11.

The show, dubbed Keep The Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett, will honor Buffet’s music and life. Buffet died at 76 from complications from Merkel-cell carcinoma, a rare skin cancer.

The star-studded tribute will include performances by Paul McCartney, Eagles, Jon Bon Jovi, Brandi Carlile, Zac Brown, Jackson Browne, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Scotty Emerick, Jack Johnson, Caroline Jones, Mac McAnally, Jake Owen, Pitbull, Jake Shimabukuro and Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band along with other special guests.

Tickets for the event are officially sold out, but fans can still purchase tickets from secondary sellers.

The event also supports Singing For Change, Jimmy Buffett’s non-profit charity established in 1995. The charity’s mission is to honor Buffet’s nature of giving and helping others.
