A man wanted in a robbery investigation was killed on Thursday, March 21, in a shooting involving Los Angeles police officers in the Reseda area.
Officers and a SWAT team went to the 7900 block of Reseda Boulevard about 4:45 a.m. to serve a warrant for the robbery investigation, Los Angeles police said.
About 5 a.m., the wanted man jumped from a third-floor balcony, allegedly armed with a rifle, and was shot by police, LAPD said.

The man, in his late 30s, was hospitalized but died.
According to Fox11, the man was wanted in connection with armed robberies of armored vehicles.
