LA Daily News boys basketball Top 15 rankings, Feb. 2

The Los Angeles Daily News boys basketball Top 15 rankings for February 2, 2026:

1. Sierra Canyon (21-1): The Trailblazers will play Loyola in the Mission League tournament semifinals Monday night.

2. Notre Dame (18-6): The Knights will play Crespi in the Mission League tournament semifinal Monday night. The Mission League final is set for Wednesday night.

3. Harvard-Westlake (22-5): The Wolverines fall to Crespi in the quarterfinals and will await their Open Division playoff fate.

4. Crespi (19-10): The Celts avenge their big loss to Harvard-Westlake earlier this season to clinch a playoff berth.

5. Loyola (15-14): The Cubs clinch an automatic playoff berth with a win over St. Francis.

6. St. Francis (21-8): Despite some losses at the end of the season, the Golden Knights, with a healthy Cherif Millogo, could still be an Open Division team pending on how many teams are taken in the field.

7. Village Christian (21-6): The Crusaders fall to Heritage Christian at home in an Olympic League showdown.

8. Oaks Christian (22-5): The Lions are in first place in the Marmonte League with a game against Westlake (2nd place) at home on Tuesday.

9. Heritage Christian (20-6): The Warriors knock off rival Village Christian.

10. Chaminade (21-5): The Eagles are scratching and clawing for their playoff fate, which will likely come by way of an at-large berth.

11. Legacy Christian (17-9): The Lions have one game left against Santa Barbara Bishop Diego on Feb. 2. Then, they pray for an at-large playoff berth as a freelance team with no league.

12. Knight (20-3): The Hawks are 12-0 in the Golden League.

13. Oak Park (16-11): The Eagles win the Coastal Canyon League (7-0). Beau Prophete leads a team that has four players averaging in double digits.
