Knott’s Berry Farm closes for second day due to heavy rain

Bad weather forced the closure of Knott’s Berry Farm for a second day in a row and also shuttered SeaWorld San Diego as a series of heavy rain storms swept through Southern California.

Knott’s Berry Farm closed on Tuesday, Feb. 20 because of bad weather after closing early on Monday, Feb. 19, according to the park’s official Twitter account. Knott’s tickets purchased for Monday and Tuesday are valid through April 28.

SeaWorld San Diego closed on Tuesday, Feb. 20 due inclement weather, according to the park’s website. SeaWorld’s Weather-or-Not program provides a free return visit when rain, thunder, lightning, hail, winds, heat, snow or a hurricane force the closure of the park.

Disneyland plans to remain open until midnight and Disney California Adventure until 10 p.m. despite the rainy skies on Tuesday.

Universal Studios tickets are rain or shine with no complimentary admission to return another day when it rains.

Legoland California offers a “Rainy Day Promise” that allows visitors to return within a year when storms ruin the day.

Magic Mountain is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the winter season.
