One of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s sons was arrested Tuesday on charges related to a “string of vehicle trespasses and property thefts,” according to the Rifle Police Department.
Police arrested Tyler Jay Boebert, 18, about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the department said in a Facebook post Tuesday evening.
He is facing charges of criminal possession of ID documents of multiple victims, conspiracy to commit a felony and “over 15 additional misdemeanor and petty offenses,” the department stated.

According to online jail records for the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler Boebert faces 22 charges, which also include contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Jail records show he is still in custody. No bond information is listed.
This is the second time this year a member of the Republican representative’s family has been arrested.
Jayson Boebert, Lauren Boebert’s ex-husband, was arrested on assault charges after he shoved his thumb into the mouth of one of their sons during an altercation in January, just days after the pair had a public incident at a western Colorado restaurant, Garfield County sheriff’s deputies said in an affidavit filed in January.
