Freebie of the week: Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns

This is the 30th year for the downtown Hermosa Beach St. Patrick’s Day parade, which starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14. The streets will close early, so don’t be a slowpoke!

The parade starts at Pier and Hermosa avenues and wends its way around downtown to Pier Plaza, where there will be live music and dance performances. Three stages will be set up along the way to provide information.

More than 70 businesses, civic groups, equestrians, car clubs and residents are expected to participate in the 2026 parade, which is 0.7 miles long. It’s expected to last 60-90 minutes. Learn more: hbchamber.net/parade-participants/
