Driver arrested in fatal hit-and-run in Pacoima

A 70-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly fatally striking a pedestrian with his vehicle in Pacoima, then fleeing the scene, authorities said Sunday, Feb. 25.

Arturo Sepulveda Carrera was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and was booked at 5:26 a.m. Sunday at the Van Nuys Jail, where he was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
