The CIF Southern Section softball season officially begins Saturday.
The Shapiro Classic will be held at Alemany High School on Saturday and other teams will compete in nonleague games or travel out of the area to tournaments.
The Hart Tournament was originally slated for Saturday but is now set to begin on Feb. 17 due to the City of Santa Clarita closing Central Park due to wet fields from the recent rain.
Here’s a look at the schedule for Saturday as well as the Hart Tournament the following weekend:
