The Clippers have agreed to a two-way contract with 7-foot-5 center Jamarion Sharp, his agent Scott Nicols told HoopsHype.
Sharp, 24, was named the G League Defensive Player of the Year last season after averaging 7.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots per game for the Texas Legends. With second-year center Yanic Konan Niederhauser out until at least January after having foot surgery, Sharp will give the Clippers added frontcourt depth alongside veteran Brook Lopez and rookie Baba Miller.
Sharp, one of the 15 tallest Division I college players ever, played at John A. Logan College in Illinois and Western Kentucky before finishing his collegiate career at Mississippi.
After going undrafted in 2024, Sharp played for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Summer League but was waived shortly before the 2024-25 NBA season began. He joined the Mavericks’ G League team, where he played two seasons.
