WWE Tag Team Share Cryptic Posts After Raw, Sparks Exit Rumors

Following Monday’s episode of Raw in Knoxville, Tennessee, a WWE tag team shared cryptic posts on social media. They sparked rumors of their potential departure from the company.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Angel Garza shared a message thanking his fans for being supportive throughout the years.

“Thank you to everyone who never jumped off the ship and kept supporting the Garza Legacy through it all,” Angel tweeted.

On the other hand, his real-life cousin and tag team partner Humberto Carrillo posted a black photo on his X account.

Los Garza’s posts sparked rumors that they could be done with WWE. They were on Raw, moving from SmackDown for a fresh start. They even spoke with Raw general manager Adam Pearce and discussed the possibility of earning an opportunity.

However, Angel and Berto were squashed by Oba Femi in an impromptu 2-on-1 Handicap Match as part of The Ruler’s open challenge.

When Pearce declared that no WWE Superstar was willing to answer Oba Femi’s challenge, he went to the back and took Los Garza for the match. He quickly dispatched both, pinning Berto following an explosive Fall From Grace powerbomb.

Los Garza’s WWE Career

Humberto Carrillo signed with WWE in 2018, starting his stint on NXT and 205 Live. He was called up to the main roster in 2019 and was a staple in the midcard until 2021, when he began teaming up with Angel Garza.

Angel arrived in WWE in 2019, spending time in NXT and even winning the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. He was called up to the main roster in 2020 and began teaming up with Andrade.

And when that didn’t pan out, Angel and Berto formed a tag team and became part of Legado del Fantasma with Santos Escobar. They didn’t have a lot of success as a team, but they did win the AAA Tag Team Championship last year.

With Escobar’s release last month, it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE parted ways with Los Garza. However, there are no official confirmation about their status, and as of this writing, they are still part of the company.
