Over the years, several notable hip-hop artists have appeared on WWE programming, and some have even fought in the ring.
Most recently, award-winning artist Lil Yachty teamed up with rising WWE star Trick Williams to create a diss track against Sami Zayn, who will compete against Williams at WrestleMania 42.
Following the viral reception of the Lil Yachty collaboration, Sami Zayn hilariously reached out to a Grammy Award-winning rapper to help form a diss track of his own.
On Saturday, the reigning WWE United States Champion reached out to Kendrick Lamar on Twitter to ask for a favor.
While it’s unclear if Sami Zayn would hop in the booth the way Trick Williams did alongside Lil Yachty, the WWE superstar is at least making an effort to even the score.
In the meantime, Williams’ diss track against Sami Zayn, “Gingerbread Man,” continues to rack up views.
Williams’ social media post has amassed over 2 million views, with fans reacting to the catchy tune.
“Trick I need this on Spotify immediately,” a user commented.
“Trick Williams collabed with Lil Yachty for a Sami Zayn diss track? I’m locked in,” another added.
“Why Trick lowkey sliding on this?” another commented, highlighting the WWE star’s lyricism.
Trick Williams’ WrestleMania Debut is Against Zayn

Former NXT and TNA champion Trick Williams will make his WrestleMania debut on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.
The trash-talking, flashy-dressing superstar will challenge Sami Zayn for the WWE United States Championship in a singles match.
Since being promoted to SmackDown, Williams has quickly become a fan favorite. His emphatic entrance, which includes sellout crowds loudly chanting “Whoop That Trick,” has become a weekly staple.
Plus, his patented white Mink coat and alligator-skin boots have helped elevate his superstar status.
While Williams has won favor amongst the fans, Sami Zayn has been less than pleased with the rising star. During their initial face-off in January, Sami Zayn noted that Williams has much to learn and vowed to humble him soon.
At WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, the Canadian star will have the opportunity to uphold his promise. Should he fall short, he will lose his coveted WWE United States Championship, which he’s held for a few weeks.
For Williams, his WrestleMania 42 match against Sami Zayn marks his first championship match since being promoted to the main roster.
During his tenure with NXT, WWE’s developmental ranks, Williams climbed to the top of the card and became a fearsome main eventer.
Now, the former NFL wideout looks to do the same on the main roster.

Throughout the years, rappers have frequently appeared ringside at WWE events. Snoop Dogg, Metro Boomin, Bow Wow, and Rick Ross, among others, have all appeared at televised WWE events.
Some hip-hop artists have even gone backstage to meet with WWE talent, as Drake did at Elimination Chamber in 2025.
Additionally, WWE has used rap songs as the official soundtrack to pay-per-view events.
