WWE Backlash 2026 Preview
Jacob Fatu has the advantage over Roman Reigns over the past two weeks, using the Tongan Death Grip. This match will be Reigns’ first title defense since winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 from CM Punk.
The Usos teased getting involved in the match, but Fatu warned his cousins to not interfere. The Samoan Werewolf isn’t backing down and would take Jey and Jimmy Uso out if he needs to.
After Sami Zayn gained the upper hand on Trick Williams in the past two weeks, the reigning United States Champion got the last laugh before Backlash. Fans should expect Lil Yachty to get involved this Saturday in behalf of Williams.
Seth Rollins nearly had Bron Breakker last Monday on Raw, but The Vision member seemingly has The Visionary’s number. Rollins will have to worry about Logan Paul and Austin Theory lurking around, but Joe Hendry and the Street Profits could give him the advantage.
IYO SKY and Asuka had a sit down last Monday, with Raw general manager Adam Pearce acting as peacekeeper. There are rumors that Kairi Sane could return during this match to possibly finish the storyline.
Finally, Danhausen tried to clone himself this Friday on SmackDown. He hasn’t had any luck in finding a partner to take on The Miz and Kit Wilson. There’s speculation that Danhausen could get someone like CM Punk or even Jelly Role to team up with him.
