A woman was found beaten to death last week in a Chicago Lawn parking lot.
Around 11:25 a.m. Friday, the 36-year-old woman was found with blunt force trauma to her head in the 6700 block of South Western Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
An autopsy determined unidentified woman died of blunt force head trauma from an assault, according to the medical examiner’s office. Her death was ruled a homicide.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Area 1 detectives were investigating.
