Woman charged with attempted murder after hitting man with car in Roseland, police say

A woman was charged after she was alleged to have hit a man with her vehicle in Roseland last month, according to Chicago police.

Ashanti Harvey, 24, faces a count for attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery, police said in a statement. She was arrested Thursday.

Harvey is alleged to have hit a 25-year-old man with her vehicle in the 11100 block of South State Street at 3:40 p.m. Feb. 3, police said.


Harvey is due in court Friday.
