Woman accused of shooting 3 men outside Irving Park neighborhood tavern

A 27-year-old Humboldt Park woman is due in court Thursday accused of shooting three men who were standing near an Irving Park neighborhood tavern earlier this month, police said.

Isathtia Perez, 27, is charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, aggravated possession of a loaded weapon and aggravated discharge of a gun, police said.

On April 12 about 2:45 a.m., Perez allegedly opened fire from a down the block at the three victims: 37, 31 and 38, who were standing near Irving Park Road and Francisco Avenue.

The 37-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said at the time. The other two victims were in fair condition, and were taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston and Advocate Illinois Medical Center.


Perez, of the Humboldt Park neighborhood, was due in court Thursday.
